Shallows & Watchers Cover Art
More hard-hitting art for two hard-hitting tracks.
Building on the style developed for the Souleater cover art, I created two new covers for Rosen Bridge, for their tracks Shallows and Watchers. Each uses the same overall colour palette and motifs, to create a common thread that flows through all of their covers, much like the band’s music.
Shallows depicts a person struggling to keep their head above water as hands grasp around their face to drag them down to the depths. Watchers plays on the terrifying and awesome ancient imagery of angels, tying in to the lyrics of the track by referencing the Watchers of the Book of Enoch. At the centre of each is the ever-looming circular void.
